George Byng, 3rd Viscount Torrington : ウィキペディア英語版 | George Byng, 3rd Viscount Torrington Major General George Byng, 3rd Viscount Torrington (21 September 1701 – 7 April 1750), styled The Honourable from 1721 to 1747, was a British Army officer and peer. He was the son of Admiral George Byng, 1st Viscount Torrington. He married Elizabeth Daniel, granddaughter of Sir Peter Daniel, on 21 August 1736. They had two children:〔(thePeerage.com - Person Page 17484 )〕 * George Byng, 4th Viscount Torrington (1740–1812) * John Byng, 5th Viscount Torrington (1743–1813) From 1742 to 1748, Byng was Colonel of the 4th Regiment of Marines (British Army).
